I am a medium-sized feline. My soft coat has well-defined black spots called “rosettes”. My head is robust, my eyes are large, and I have short rounded ears. I like living in very dense forests and taking walks at night. I am a solitary feline, and females of my species can have a litter of cubs every two years..

I am a skilled hunter and can track my prey through the scent I can perceive of the roads. I eat small mammals, birds, crustaceans, and sometimes fish.

You can find me from North America (United States) to South America (Argentina). In Peru, I live in dense jungle forests.
