My plumage is mainly green, the top of my head is red, and I have small spots on my cheeks. I have a narrow red band on the edge of the wings. My beak is beige, and I have a white eye ring. My tail is long and pointy. You will find me in large flocks.

My diet consists of a wide variety of fruits and seeds. Sometimes I visit crops like cornfields.
¿Dónde vivo?
I like to live in humid regions like cloud forests. You can also find me in secondary forests, shrub formations, and cacti. My species is distributed natively in Venezuela and Colombia.

Reproductive characteristics. I usually nest in rocky crags, laying 3 to 4 eggs in the nest. The incubation can last 23 or 24 days. Young leave the nest after 50 days, with bright green plumage.
