I am a small feline with an elongated body and small round ears. My fur has shades of gray and reddish. I usually camouflage very well among the trees. I have diurnal activity and have been observed living in couples or alone.
¿De qué me alimento?
I eat a wide variety of small mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and fish. I can occasionally eat insects.
¿Dónde vivo?
I inhabit grasslands, savannas, shrub areas, tropical forests, and scrublands. Ideally, I can live near water bodies like rivers and lagoons. You will find me from Mexico to Argentina.

A different behavior?
Unlike other felines, we tend to be very active during the day and rest at night. This difference in behavior is an adaptation to reduce competition with other felines, such as ocelots and pumas.
