You can easily recognize me by my great height, black neck with a red band, and long bill of almost 30 cm. My plumage is mainly white. I am a monogamous bird which means, I mate for life. My way of hunting is by stalking, and sometimes we gather in large groups to capture our prey.

I like to eat fish, mollusks, insects, and amphibians. I can supplement my diet with small reptiles and mammals.
¿Dónde vivo?
I live near rivers and lagoons in large family groups. You can find me from Mexico to Argentina.
