¿Quién soy?

I am a medium-sized bird, with a pear-shaped body, a small head, and a long, thin tail. Males of my species have multi-colored plumage, with long tails and wrinkly eye patches. Females have lighter shades, brown or beige. I am a very social bird, and I live in large groups called "harem", led by a single male.

¿De qué me alimento?

I eat a wide variety of plants, such as grains, seeds, sprouts, and berries, as well as small invertebrates and insects.

¿Dónde vivo?

I like to live in grasslands and close to farms and crops. I prefer open areas like fields with trees, bushes, or swamps so I can hide. I am a species native to Asia but have been successfully introduced to Europe, North America, and Oceania.
