I am a majestic scavenger bird. My plumage is deep black, with a white-collar of feathers and a bald head. Males of my species differ from females because they have a crest and brown eyes, whereas the female's eyes are red.

I am a scavenger bird. For this reason, I play an important ecological role by accelerating the decomposition process of the carrion that I consume.
¿Dónde vivo?
You can find me from coastal areas up to 5500 meters above sea level. I prefer open lands to find my food easily. My species has been observed from Colombia to Argentina.
