I live in groups of up to 20 members. You can easily recognize me by the two large humps on my back. The males of my species are much larger than the females. My coat is dark brown or grayish. I have an inflatable sac under my tongue that sticks out of my mouth when it's mating season. I have two rows of large eyelashes that help me to block out sandy winds and dust.

My diet is varied and is based mainly on salty or bitter grasses and plants that I find in deserts.
