¿Quién soy?

I am a quadrupedal mammal, small and robust. My coat can be straight, curly, short or long, gray, brown, black, or white. I am a domesticated species, but there are still some subspecies that live in the wild. I can make very loud brays to communicate over long distances.

¿De qué me alimento?

I am a herbivorous mammal; I eat grass, leaves, and stems. My strong stomach is well adapted to harsh desert grasses.

¿Dónde vivo?

My species is distributed throughout the world. Our natural habitats are the hills and deserts of North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula.

A hybrid species?

Donkeys can reproduce with mares (denomination of the female horse) and give birth to a mule. This young is a sterile hybrid, and it will not be able to reproduce, but it will live without any problem.
