¿Quién soy?
We, Water buffalo, have very little hair; it is ash gray with red tones. Our skin is dark gray, and we have horns that usually have a curved shape. We are very social mammals, and we usually live in family groups called "herds" of up to 20 members.

We are ruminants, and our diet consists of herbs, aquatic plants, leaves, and crops.
¿Dónde vivo?
We like to live in humid habitats like riparian forests, grasslands, and swamps. You can find us from Central India to Vietnam in the east.

We are very sensitive to heat, as we do not have sweat glands. Therefore, you can see us taking mud baths, which helps us maintain a cool body temperature.
