I am a well-known reptile in the Peruvian jungle. My shell is dark brown with yellow spots. The plastron (lower part of the shell) is flattened in females and concave in males. I am a solitary, diurnal species. One of my main predators is the jaguar (Panthera onca).

My diet consists of a wide variety of foods, including various plants, herbs, leaves, roots, barks, fungi, insects, and carrion.
¿Dónde vivo?
I live in the rainforests of the Amazon and tropical forests, near water bodies. My species lives from Trinidad and Tobago to Peru and Bolivia.
