I am a medium-sized tortoise, with a big and flattened shell, a rigid and reduced plastron, and a triangular head with a pointed snout with a powerful hook at the tip. The color of my shell can vary from brown to olive or black, and my skin is gray or olive black. I am an aquatic, omnivorous, and very voracious species.

¿Dónde vivo?
I usually live in coastal areas and the lower parts of the Andes Mountains. I prefer open forests and steppes. You can find me from Ecuador to Argentina.
